For the second year in a row, we spent New Year's Eve weekend in Raleigh with my parents, Dave, Ashley, and Maddox. We had a nice long weekend to celebrate. And the weather was unseasonably warm...we even got to blow bubbles on the porch!
Since we didn't get to see Dave and Ashley on Christmas, we exchanged presents while they were here. Ty and I picked out a really cool Buzz Lightyear toy for Maddox, since he's such a fan. You shook it up and put it down and it would zoom from one side of the room to the other. It took Maddox a while to warm up to it, and Dylan cried every time it sped across the floor. HAH!
Here's hoping that I am as blessed in 2012 as I have been in 2011. Happy New Year!
