Luck of the Irish

Dylan's Grandma and Grandpa came down to visit him this weekend.  On Friday night, we cooked out and even had a visit with one of Tyler's childhood friends, Steve.

On Saturday, we got dressed in our green and headed downtown for the St. Patrick's Day Parade.  The city was buzzing with excitement and the Guiness was flowing!  Moore Square was filled with vendors and there was a live band playing.

The parade featured bag pipe players, Irish dancers, and lots of green!  We were really surprised at the size of the parade, as it seemed to go on forever.  Dylan was really impressed!

After a while, we decided to go grab some lunch at the Flying Saucer and were able to sit outside!

 We walked back to the car after lunch and were happy to find many of the trees already in bloom.

We really enjoyed the perfect 70 degree weather and celebrating St. Patrick's Day with the Cotes!
