We had a really nice Easter Weekend, just the three of us. Saturday we went to an Easter Egg hunt in the park in our neighborhood. Of course, Dylan didn't hunt for eggs, but we were able to meet some of the other parents in the neighborhood and even met a family with another little boy who was only 4 weeks old. I see play dates in our future! It's hard to imagine that next year, Dylan will be running around with all the other little kiddies looking for eggs filled with chocolate and stickers.
After the egg hunt, we went to Mebane, NC and had lunch at a cute little Italian Restaurant. My cousin, Katie, came by to say hi and to see Dylan. Afterward, we stopped by my aunt's antique store,
The Curious Peddler for a quick visit before heading to the outlets.

When we were out driving one day last week, we saw the Easter Bunny and I made sure to tell him to stop by the house to deliver Dylan his first Easter Basket! Dylan should really thank me for getting in good with the Easter Bunny, because his basket had everything a baby could want: diapers, wipes, a rattle and blankie, and candies for mommy and daddy!

We spent most of Easter Sunday out in the yard. Tyler has been working really hard to get the yard landscaped and under control. I finally planted all of my herbs and some flowers!

After we finished the yard work, we got showered and went out for an Easter mimosa while we watched the Flyers. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous day!
