The Cote Clan: I've been a bad, bad girl...

...at blogging at least! To say that things have been really crazy since Bryant's birthday would be an understatement.

First, and most importantly, our family welcomed the 7th grandbaby - another little boy! David and Ashley became the proud parents of Grayson Hunter Magerkurth on July 9th, 2014. He is so sweet and looks so much like his big brother and sister.

Next - a very long-held dream has finally been realized. Both my parents, and my sister and her family, bought homes in Raleigh. I am so excited to finally be in the same place as most of my immediate family. For several years, Tyler and I lived in Philadelphia with Dallas and Chris. We had so much fun going to dinner and hanging out around the city. It has been 4 years since we were all together - and back then, there were no kiddos! And to have the help of my mom and dad, and not have to travel all of the time is wonderful. That also means that they have made the huge life decision to move out of Roanoke, my mom retired, and they are selling our childhood family home. But I know they will be as happy here in Raleigh as we have been. Now let's all just hope we're as happy with how everything has come together this time NEXT year!

Besides that, we have had countless weekends with great friends, trips to the beach and to see our family in Pennsylvania, concerts, and several parties (both for the kids and for us)! Dylan started a new preschool, and Bryant started walking! And Tyler and I also celebrated our 6 year anniversary in Asheville... kids-free!
